The ACTS weekend is presented by Catholic lay women with the support of clergy, and a spiritual director(s). The goals of the weekend retreat are to strengthen your faith, to renew yourself spiritually, to build purpose in your prayer life and to build strong lasting friendships within your church community.
The retreats begin on Thursday evening and concludes on Sunday morning with the 11:15 a.m. Mass at St. Bernard’s Church followed by a pot luck lunch in the gym. ACTS is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology and Service, and it is these four themes that will be the main focus of the ACTS Retreat. ACTS is inspired by the Acts of the Apostles found in ACTS 2:42-47.
This life-changing weekend will be an opportunity for spiritual renewal and the making of many friends.
Please return the form below along with the $150.00 fee to the church office. Make checks payable to St. Bernard’s. (No one will be denied due to finances.) As the date of the retreat nears more information pertaining to the details will be mailed to you. Transportation to and from the retreat will be provided. Slots are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
The next retreat will be held July 26-29 at the University of Tulsa.
