Gabriel Project's Mission
The Gabriel Project is a parish-based outreach to pregnant women providing the emotional, spiritual and practical assistance they need to choose life. It's the Church acting as the hands and feet of Christ and providing her with unconditional love. The Gabriel Project helps the mother appreciate that her child is a gift; gently brings her into contact with God's love, helps the mother with her practical needs, and witnesses to the community of the parish's commitment to life.

Testimonials for the Gabriel Project:
As coordinator of the Gabriel Project I have been privileged to see two of our parishioners reach out to a young unmarried Catholic couple who were pregnant and lost their baby. The women were able to help direct this couple to local resources and be there for them. I am in awe of these living angels who have kept in touch with the couple almost a year after the much too early birth of their child.
I hope and pray that more women will hear the call to step forward to help our fellow sisters in their time of need. I have been called several times this past year but did not have anyone to send.

My experience of being a Gabriel Project volunteer on one case really opened my eyes to the God-given strength and resilience of the human spirit in spite of less than optimal parenting and home situations. My faith in our young people was renewed as I witnessed first-hand love and loyalty under extremely difficult circumstances.
My prayer is that these two young adults will overcome temptations and continue to grow spiritually. I am very happy I had the opportunity to participate in this wonderful project.

Being a part of the Gabriel Angel project has been more than just rewarding. Seeing a scared, yet undoubtedly brave woman choose life is a pure blessing. Helping this woman endure the ups and downs of her pregnancy all the while supporting and uplifting her decision of life is amazing. I have learned so much from this bravery and faith and am proud to be a part of the Gabriel Angel Project.
