Saint Bernard's Choir Groups
CONTEMPORARY CHOIR - Practice is scheduled every Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. for the Sunday evening Mass that day. This group is open to teens and up by audition. Prospective members can try out at any time by calling Anne at 671-0779.
CHANCEL CHOIR - This choir is open to ages 18 and up. Practices take place on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Chancel Choir sings at the 11:15 a.m. Mass each Sunday, September through May, with rehearsals beginning in early September. Call Anne for more information at 671-0779.
HANDBELL CHOIR - To be part of this group, it is helpful to be able to read music, just a little bit! Rehearsals are scheduled Monday's from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Handbell Choir plays at about 4 Masses each in the fall and spring along with Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday morning. The group also makes an appearance at the annual Citywide Bellfest. Practices begin each September and run through May. For questions, call Anne at 671-0779.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR - Parents, if you would like your children to sing in a choir, please contact Anne at 671-0779. Children's Choir is open to to grades 1-6 and practices on Wednesday from 4:30-5:00 p.m. The group sings usually once a month at the 8:30 a.m. Sunday Mass along with the annual Santa Breakfast and at the 5:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass. Rehersal starts every September.
