ACTS Retreats (Men's & Women's)
ACTS is a three-day Catholic lay retreat, designed to help retreatants enter into a deeper relationship with the Lord. ACTS retreats are given by parishioners for parishioners, and in this way, serve to build Christian community at their parish. Retreats provide chances to relax and focus on your faith journey. Holy Scripture and the teachings of the Catholic Church are the guide for this movement.
Altar Linen Ministry
The Altar Linen ministry serves the parish by laundering the linens used during Mass. Volunteers pick up the soiled laundry each Monday morning from the Sacristy and wash the linens at home. Linens are ironed and returned to the church on Thursdays each week to be ready for the upcoming weekend.
Clairvaux Women’s Club
All women of the parish are invited to participate in the Clairvaux Women's Club. The purpose of the group is to provide the women of our parish opportunities for community, spiritual growth, and service to others. To receive emails and/or text messages, be sure to join the Flocknote group.
Dinners for Eight
Are you a foodie? Enjoy eating? Meeting new people? Want to meet other parishioners? Dinners for Eight may be for you. Here’s how it works: Dinners for Eight has two sessions, spring and fall. Participants are randomly assigned to a group of 8 people (usually 4 couples but sometimes includes singles). Once a month for four months the group meets for dinner (or other times determined by the group), with the host/hostess rotating each month. At the beginning of the session, groups are randomly assigned again. New sign up times are announced in the bulletin and available at the church. Come and join in the fun! For more information or to sign up, contact coordinators Lesa Clark at lesa25ok@sbcglobal.net and Randy Smith at randysmith1970@sbcglobal.net.
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal service order. Membership is composed of practicing Catholic men, age 18 and older. The organization was founded in 1882 as a mutual benefit society for working-class and immigrant Catholics in the United States. It has grown to support refugee relief, Catholic education, local parishes and dioceses, and global Catholic causes. Find out more here. Contact us at council11959@gmail.com. Men of the Upper Room
Men of the Upper Room (MOUR) is a men's program at St. Bernard's to help strengthen faith and increase understanding of the Church's teaching. The program combines fellowship with education to promote authentic male leadership according to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the magisterium of the Church. Weekly meetings are held on Wednesdays beginning in the Fall and ending in late Spring.
Seniors of Clairvaux
Are you 55 or older? We know, you may not think of yourself as a "senior," however, the Senior's Group is open to all men and women who are 55 and older. You are invited to join us on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 11:30 am for a delicious lunch and a great time in the Community Room. Specific details about the food and fun are in the bulletin. If you plan to attend, please rsvp to Mary Isbell at parishlife@stbernardstulsa.org.
St. Thérèse Guild
Members of the St. Thérèse Guild serve the parish by caring for the beautiful flowers and plants throughout the church. This includes repurposing the weekly altar flowers and arrangements left after funerals. They also provide flower arrangements for large parish events and care for the plants around the church.
