Becoming Catholic (RCIA)

TO LEARN MORE ABOUT CATHOLICISM OR JOIN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

Would you like to learn more about Catholicism or join the Catholic Church? Meetings for anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or joining the Catholic Church are ongoing. The process is called RCIA, the Rite of Catholic Initiation of Adults. All of our sessions are welcoming, respectful and friendly. Our goal is to explain how living the Catholic faith can provide a deeper, richer relationship with Jesus than can be found elsewhere.

The normal process for becoming Catholic or learning more about the Catholic Church begins in September and culminates at the Easter Vigil, the Saturday night before Easter Sunday. This year the sessions begin on Wednesday, September 6th, from 6:45 to 8:15 pm. Sessions continue on Wednesday nights each week except during Thanksgiving week and the Christmas holidays. CHILD CARE IS AVAILABLE WITH ADVANCE REGISTRATION.

To start the process, you are asked to complete an Inquirer Information Sheet and meet with the RCIA Director. To request the Inquirer Information form, set up a meeting with the Director or request more information, contact Deacon Tim Sullivan, Director of RCIA, at tsullivan@stbernardstulsa.org or by phone at 918-528-6150.
